Donald Lynn Glover (68) of Pleasant Grove, Al passed away suddenly on Saturday February 3rd, 2018. Don was a loving father and Grandpa, and enjoyed many years watching his sons and grandchildren at the ballpark. He loved cruise ins with his Mustang Club, dancing on Tuesday nights with his beloved girlfriend, and any yard sale he could find. Don was a former president and remained an active member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He graduated Phillips High School in 1968, Birmingham Southern College in 1972, and worked as a Electronic Switch Technician for BellSouth for 35 years before retiring in 2002. Don will be greatly missed. He is survived by his two sons Jeff Glover (Candice) and Doug Glover; grandchildren, Addison Glover (6yrs), Easton Glover (5yrs), and Ellie Rose Glover (9mo); brother, Ron Glover (Shari); sisters, Linda Knaffl and Kathy Kinsley (Stan); girlfriend, Judy Franklin; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Lelian and Thelma (Bartlett) Glover. The celebration of Don's life will be at 11:30 am on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home in Pleasant Grove, with burial following in the adjoining cemetery. Pastor Kyle Valaer of Liberty Baptist Church will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at a visitation prior to the service on Tuesday from 10am until 11:30 am.
