Danny Ray Whatley, 73, McCalla, Alabama passed away on October 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee, Sr. and Maudie Whatley; brother Roger Dale Whatley. He is survived by his wife Sherry "Denise" Whatley; sons, Eric Ray Whatley, Chad Adam Whatley; daughter, Jenny Denise Whatley; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Logan Whatley, Staniel, Valerie Lee, Odin Whatley, Ivie Davis, Aiden Browning; sister, Nelda Jean Allred (Earl);; brother, Roy Lee Whatley, Jr. (Linda). Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Bessemer, Alabama. Pastor Jason Dollar officiatng.
