Daniel Ray Willis, age 29 passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Laura and Buford Myers, Rose and Albert Willis, June and John Ogden.
He leaves behind loving parents Laura and George Ogden, Danny Willis and Dana Hamaker. Loving aunts and uncles, Jenice and David Adcock, Cynthia and Kenneth Bonds, Melinda and Melvin Slotnick, Mary and Jim Freeman, Patsy and Philip Willis, Glenda and Shorty Willis; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. He is survived by many friends and co-workers that he loved like family at the Jefferson County Roads and Transportation Dept. and devoted friends who shared his interests.
Daniel was passionate about his family, friends, his cars, motorcycle and sweet little dog, Maggie. Daniel never quit, he always gave his all, his heart, his time, his enthusiasm, to those he loved.
His friends say it best, "Daniel, you are the epitome of living life to the fullest. You went hard and fast, making people smile along the way. Your journey here has ended, but you are riding high now. A little piece of you is in everyone you met"
"I know Daniel is already in a better place because of his heart and love for others. Daniel had a purpose and a season, touching lives and showing love."
A visitation will be held at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 P.M.
