Charles Wayne Smith, 77 of Hayden, Alabama passed away July 1, 2023. He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Smith; parents, Edward James and Margaret Smith; sisters, Betty Smith, Francis Smith; brother, Buddy Smith; sister, Dorothy Smith. He is survived by his son, Charles W. Smith, Jr.; daughters, Cheryl Walden (Darryl), Melinda Scroggins; grandchildren, Austin, Micheal, MaKayla, Lydia, Matthew, Amanda, Ashley, Adam; great grandchildren, Asher, Penelope, Levi, Esmae, Miles; sisters, Sarah Smith, Martha Jean Montgomery, Christine Messina, Elizabeth Thomas; brother, Paul Smith. Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2023 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Bro. Eddie Hodges officiating.
