Carolyn E. Maddox

Carolyn E. Maddox, 80 of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away May 2, 2022. She was a longtime member of Pelham Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bufford and Clelia Swindle; husband of 54 years, Charles A. Maddox; siblings, Nan Sims, Sue Alexander, Viola Knight, Ruth Horton, Jimmie Swindle, Samuel Swindle, Carroll Swindle and Bonnie Graves; grandson, Shane Hendrix. She is survived by her sons, Timothy A. Maddox (Tina), David B. Maddox (Kim) and John T. Maddox, II (Isa); grandchildren, Chase Maddox (Brittany), Taylor Maddox, Brandon Maddox, Blake Maddox, Adam Maddox, Davey Maddox, Alexia Maddox, Harley Maddox, Katherine Keel, Katie Leverette, Kristian Keel, Gracie Maddox and Heaven Maddox; sister, Jean Holiman; and many other relatives and friends. Interment will be Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, 35115) in Montevallo, Alabama.
