Carl "Doug" Lyon

Carl Douglas Lyon, affectionately known as "Doug", 61 of Sylvan Springs, Alabama, passed away February 9, 2022. He was a longtime member of Bayview Baptist Church and Birmingham APA. He is preceded in death by his parents, William D. Lyon and Carolyn Moses Lyon and brother, William S. Lyon. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Lyon; sons, Jeremy Lyon (Ashley) and Alex Lyon; grandchildren, Baylee Lyon, Skyland Bearden and Naddie Lyon; sister, Denise Morrison (Doug); numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home with funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM, in the chapel. Bro. Jamey
