Brenda Elaine Gilliland

Brenda Elaine Gilliland, 71, of Mulga, Alabama, passed away on March 21, 2024. Brenda worked as a Child Nutritionist for the Jefferson County School System before retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold Davis and Mildred Morrison King; husband, James Alfred Gilliland, a sister, Vicki King. She is survived by her son, James Allen Gilliland; daughter, Talisha Elaine Griffin; sister, Donna King; grandchildren, Seth Gilliland (Gabrielle), Savannah Griffin (Chasidee), Heath Gilliland, (Vatican), Hayden Griffin, Hunter Griffin and Noah Gilliland; furry friend, Ginger; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for their kindness and care during this time. Graveside service will be Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Cremation Garden (by the little chapel). Pastor Diane Humphries officiating.
