Bernard Anthony "Ling-Ling" Lorino Sr.

Bernard Anthony “Ling-Ling” Lorino, Sr. of Hoover, Alabama passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family on January 5, 2023. He was 90 years old. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. Lorino was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Annie Lorino, and his brothers, Sam Lorino and Paul “Peanut” Lorino. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Virginia Casha Lorino; his sons Bernard (Pat) Lorino and Frankie (Diane) Lorino; his daughters Mary Gregg and Kim (Randy) Hallman; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sixth on the way, and several nephews. “Pop” was loved by many and was happiest sharing special times with his family. Visitation will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery following the service.
