Bernard Thomas Finneran
May 28, 1934 — January 3, 2021
Finneran, Bernard T. (Bernie), age 86 of Hueytown, Al passed away January 3,2021. He is retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation, where he was employed for 42 years. He had also served in the Army Reserves. He is a member of First United Methodist Church Hueytown. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy Finneran, his sister, Inez Isbell and his grandson Justin Stamba. He is survived by his sons Jeff (Carolyn) Finneran and Tommy (Grace) Finneran and his grandchildren Christy (Evan) Nelson and Blake (Sadie) Finneran. He also has six great grandchildren, Cash, Crue and Briggs Nelson and Shaw, Hartleigh, and Fisher Finneran.
Visitation will be Wednesday,January 6,2021 from 12:30 pm until 2 pm at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home in Pleasant Grove with a graveside service, officiated by Bro. John Simmons, immediately following.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the food pantry at First United Methodist Church Hueytown, 110 Sunset Drive Hueytown, Alabama 35023.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Alabama Oncology Princeton, the staff at Park-rite at Princeton, and Comfort Care Hospice for all of their love, care and support during Bernie’s illness.
