Barbara Ann Thompson, 81 of Birmingham, passed away March 5, 2022. She is preceded by parents, Woodrow W. and Verna S. Flippo; husband, Ralph E. Thompson; and brother, Ronnie Flippo. She is survived by her sons, Walter “Craig” Thompson and Russell Wayne Thompson (Jennifer McCombs); grandsons, Derek Thompson and Dustin Thompson; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Memorial service is planned for Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Westmont Baptist Church (2963 Mulga Loop Rd, Birmingham 35224). Pastor Landon Byrd officiating.
