Barbara Ellis Dickerson Street

Barbara Ellis Dickerson Street passed away on October 3, 2017 at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her parents. Her first husband: Royce Earl Dickerson. Also predeceased by her husband of 50 years Carl Street. Brothers: Charles Robert and Donald Ray Ellis. Survivors include her daughters: Jan Dickerson Bowers (Richard), Tracy Street Ippolito (Johnny) and Kim Street York (Bobby). Grandchildren: Daniele, Christopher and Jeremy Ippolito. Dylan and Carley York. Also by numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She was a living testament of Christ's grace and mercy. She shared the love of Jesus with her children until the day she died. She served as the church hostess at Vinesville Baptist Church and later at Hunter Street Baptist. Her true love was serving her family. She spent the majority of her marriage as a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and especially enjoyed preparing food around the holidays. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Services for Barbara will be held at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, on Friday October 6, 2017 with the visitation beginning at 10:30 AM and continuing until service time at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Old Prospect Cemetery, 3481 Prospect Rd, Nauvoo, AL.35578.
