Augustine Kelly West , age 87, of Hueytown passed away at her residence on January 20, 2025. Mrs West was born November 30, 1937 in West Blocton, Al to the late Tousint and Clara Bell Carroll Savadori; she is also predeceased by her husband, Fred West; sister, Thelma Irvin and brother, Johnny Salvadori..
Mrs. West is survived by her son, Ricky Kelly (Lynn); grandson, Christian Kelly (Lauren); great grandchildren, Carter Kelly and Will Hagen Kelly and sister-in-law, Mary Salvadori.
Augustine, better known as "Granny", worked at McDonald's and Jack's for many before working for Moore's Dry Cleaning. She loved Alabama Football and hardly ever missed a sporting event with her great grandsons. She enjoyed going to the beach and playing putt-putt golf with her family, going to yard sales and estate sales, gardening and most anything outdoors.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, 1498 5th Avenue, Pleasant Grove, Al 35127. The family will receive friends at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Larry Turner will officiate services.
