To the Nabors Family
I would like to take this time to express my condolences to the entire family. Our hearts are always sadden when we hear about the passing of anyone. During this most difficult times, we truly need to take comfort in God's inspired words. He is the true source of all comfort. He has promised us, that soon He would remove all sickness and death away from the earth.(Revelation 21:3-4) He continues with His loving comfort by telling us, that even if we should lose a love one in death, that He will restore that persons life back to him.(John 5:28-29)
If you asked, would you like to Ethlyn back alive again, we know that your answer would be yes. Well this is what God is promising to us. He is the source of all life; so that restoring of it is not something impossible for Him to do. Did you know that there are eight accounts in the bible that deals with the resurrection hope? They are preserved in the bible as future previews of the grand blessing to come. When reading the accounts, we gain comfort in dealing with the personal lost of a love one. Here is one such example. It is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. Perhaps in the days to come, you may get a chance to consider the account. When doing so, why not think about how the verses would first apply to Ethlyn Sue, as God uses His power to restore her back to life. Can you imagine that? Yes a younger Ethlyn, full or power and strength. God even reverses the aging process, enjoying life again. Then think about all the family members and friends, as they become eye witnesses of Ethlyn coming back to life. Well this is what God has revealed in the scriptures. He wants you to draw comfort from reading the accounts. Yes the resurrection will take place. God has given us His personal promise. For God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)
