Annie Edna "Sip" Jessie
"Sip" passed away October 12, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born Aug. 31, 1921 in Columbiana and always known as Sip by her friends and family. She was a member of the Church of Christ for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jessie, sons, Jim Carnes and Mark Stowe. She was a cosmetologist before retiring from her career. She will be missed by her sister, Gail Russell; son, Dan Carnes (Alta); daughter, Linda Watters (Tom) and grandchildren, Geoffrey Watters (Brandy), Danny Carnes, Brandon Carnes (Brooke), Ashley Carnes, Adam Carnes (Carissa), Shawna Mays (Robert); great grandchildren are Conner Watters, Logan Watters, Spencer Howard, Chance Caswell, Rhone Carnes, Olivia Carnes; great great grandson, Jaxon Howard.The family would like to express special thanks to Liz Higgins who is like a daughter to her and always remembered her at every occasion along with Jenny and Earl Higgins. June O'Rear and Sue Rasco visited her and were good friends. Sherry Heath her hairdresser and Gail Mulligan were so kind and helpful. Mickey Ferguson-Fox 6 weather man thank you for giving her a laugh each day! Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with burial in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Buddy Poe officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 PM until service time.
