Charles Edward(Ed)Brown, 75, of Hueytown, AL passed away Saturday May 13, 2017. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents, mother Mae P. Brown Shirley, and father Angus Dixon Brown, siblings Exia Mallard, Ethel Boullion, and Barbara Singleton. Ed is survived by his wife of 54 years Sharron (Pat) Brady Brown, Daughter Jeanna Balinda Shackelford (Terry, spouse) of Hollywood AL and son Dale Edward Brown (Adele, spouse) of Helena, AL.,Step Sister Sharon Kling of Mobile, AL., Seven grandchildren Kendall Parrish (DJ spouse), Morgan Rogin (Rubin spouse) Zachary Winkle (Kirsten, spouse), Kellen Simmons (Josh, spouse), Douglas Ledlow, Logan Brown and Braden Brown. Eight great grandchildren Zoey Elizabeth and Colby Carol Parrish,Ellie Cay Stockton, Cason Riley Smith, Max and Mason Rogin, and Blake and Allison Bates. Mr. Brown retired from the Birmingham Veterans Administration with 31 years of service. Ed was a Veteran, retired with Honors and Distinction from the U.S. Army Reserve with 28 years of dedicated continuous service. The Brown family will receive family and friends for visitation on Friday May 19, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00P.M. Immediately followed by Funeral Service with grave side military honor services at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home in Hueytown, AL.
