Annie Hogan Fields

Annie Hogan Fields, born August 19, 1929 in Mulga Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Annie was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, J.W. Fields, son Steve Fields and grandson Chris Whitmore. Annie was a book keeper and moved to Panama City Florida and then to Florence Alabama after retirement. She was an exceptional grandmother and devoted to all of her family. Annie loved fishing and taught her grandsons how to be exceptional fisherman. She is survived by her son Wayne Fields (Ann), daughter Sandra Archer (Ron), grandchildren Tammy Jones, Russell Fields (Dianne), Amanda Means (Steve), Ashley Fields (Adam), Clayton Fields (Megan), Lauren Fields, Michael Fields, great-grandchildren Rebecca Jones, Joshua Jones, Josiah Jones, Tatum Means, Delaney Fields, Dyer Fields, Wyatt Fields and many nieces and nephews. Annie enjoyed traveling, fishing, family, church and never lost her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ when faced with deaths of children and hardships in life. She is with the angels and predeceased family now and is singing with the angels. A graveside funeral is planned at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove, Alabama at 11:00 am Monday, February 6, 2017. She will be laid to rest beside her husband

I was blessed to have Annie as my Aunt. I will always love her and be thankful to have had such a wonderful Aunt. She was one of the strongest people I have ever known, kind, loving, and giving were just a few of her qualities. I will miss her terribly.
