Daileigh Elizabeth Garner

Deceased: 12/02/16

Daileigh Elizabeth Garner came into this world on December 2nd at 12:47 a.m. at which time she was greeted by an angel and taken to heaven. She was born at Brookwood Baptist Medical Hospital to her parents, Josh and Jamie Garner of Lakeview Alabama. She weighed 6 lbs and 2 oz and was 18 inches long. She had beautiful brunette hair and the most precious slender hands and feet. She is said to mostly resemble her mother. Daileigh brought her parents so much joy waiting on her arrival and is a true blessing from God. She is in Heaven receiving lots of hugs and kisses from her great-grand parents and multiple family members who have passed before her. Daileigh leaves behind her grandparents: MB and Francis Garner, Steven and Debbie Vice, and Rick and Janise Apperson as well as her great-grandfather Robert Weaver. She will be greatly missed by her numerous Aunts and uncles: Jonathan and Heather Garner, Chris and Misty Foster, Alex, Sarah, Nathan, and Andrew Vice, Amy Sandlin, and Hunter and Dana Oglesby. She will also be greatly missed by her large extended family. The visitation will take place on December 12th at Hepzibah Baptist Church from 5-7pm. The funeral service and burial will also take place at Hepzibah Baptist Church the following day at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Patterson funeral home will be overseeing the funeral services. The Family would like to ask for donations, in lieu of flowers, to be made to your choice of one of these three charities whose services were invaluable to the family in this time of loss. To donate to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, who provided the family with priceless photos of Daileigh that they otherwise would not have had, you can go to their website www.NILMDTS.org. If you wish to donate to the Brookwood Baptist Medical Auxiliary, who went out of their way to provide the family with a memory box that held multiple keepsakes, you may contact Becki at 205-877-5140. If you wish to send a monetary gift to Threads of Love, who hand crafted precious blankets, caps, booties, and a gown for Daileigh, you may contact Carol at 205-655-0798. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
