Debbie Waldroup Jones
She attended Avondale school from 62-69 and Ramsey HS 69-73. She worked at GG’s in the Park from 63-89, 92-93, Morrison’s Colonnade from 89-92 and McDonald’s on US-280 from 93-96. She was a breast cancer survivor, participated in Race for the Cure for many years, was an avid animal lover and was a proud organ donor.
Welcoming her with open arms to help guide her to her final destination are her father Willard Clinton Waldroup, her step dad Hubert Day, son Christopher Len Jones, sister Sandy Waldroup Thomas and brother Billy Day.
She is survived by her mother Betty Hodges Waldroup; Birmingham, daughter Wendy Carwyr; Tuscaloosa, son Eric Jones ; Alabaster, grand daughters Breanne Johnson Odenville, and Zoë Johnson; Ashville, AL, grandson Jeremy Yates; Carrollton, TX, her big brother Willard Len Waldroup; Friendswood, TX, big sister Barbara Maxwell; Irondale, AL, and father of her 3 beautiful children and best friend David E. Jones; Woodstock, AL
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
I'll always remember the family reunion on the lake and the swimming pool turned boat. What fun we had.
